Jane has been a member of St Peter’s for the past twelve years since moving to Bournemouth, with her sons joining as choristers.
She is a corporate lawyer, graduating from Nottingham University in 1989 and then Guildford Law school back in 1990. After working at one of the largest global law firms Clifford Chance for seven years, Jane joined their largest client, US West, as their International Counsel. She then moved to On Demand, a global streaming company as head in-house counsel and where she worked for many years, even after moving to Bournemouth in 2012.
In 2000, Jane started a family and now has two grown boys, one working in finance in London and the other in Stockholm studying at the International Film School there.
Jane became one of the church wardens back in 2016, and since has overseen many major projects, including replacing the drainage system from the Resurrection Chapel, set in the church grounds at St Peter’s, the Tower & Spire renovation project, the Grounds Project – reclaiming the land back from the wilderness it had become, which is still very much ongoing, the heating projects in both St Augustin’s and St Peter’s, replacing roofing in both of those churches, CCTV in St Peter’s, and now the windows restoration projects in St Stephen’s and St Peter’s to name but a few.
She is a trustee of the St Peter’s Choral Foundation and The St Peter’s Development Project and sits as an ex-officio member of the Parochial Church Council of Bournemouth Town Centre Parish.
