Dear Friends,
Welcome to our weekly Sunday webcast video service, which can be accessed through this link:
Today I am delighted to welcome our friend, the Rev’d Dr Paul Collins, to share a reflection with us.
For the next two Sundays, although I shall introduce the video, we shall be benefiting from a reflection recorded by Bishop David Williams, the Bishop of Basingstoke.
Also for the next two Sundays, Canon Sue Wallace will be, kindly, leading our Eucharist and preaching at St Peter’s at 10am. I’m sure that you will warmly welcome Sue and her husband, Malcolm.
St Augustin’s folk will be worshipping again at 10am on Sunday, 23rd August, kindly led by our neighbour, the Rev’d James Sharp. The Rev’d Steve Parselle has kindly agreed to lead worship there on Sunday, 30th August. Watch this weekly email for what public worship will be available in the future.
The same applies to all our churches. We are at an uncertain time in terms of what levels of public meetings are recommended or allowed, and who is available to lead them – and it is not wise for us to try to plan too far ahead. I know that this is frustrating, but it is where we are.
Enjoy the gentle and refreshing breezes that come with this gloriously hot weather; and keep safe and well.
