Boscombe in bid for up to £25million

Aside from coronavirus, we’re working on an ambitious bid that could see Boscombe awarded up to £25million investment as part of the Government’s Town Fund initiative. A Board made up of community, business and political representatives is leading the way on proposals for major regeneration.Improving connectivity infrastructure, creating new social places that bring people together, as well as boosting jobs and providing homes will all feature as part of the plans.

Keeping children safe from harm

Home isn’t always a safe place. Schools closing could put some children at greater risk of abuse and neglect. If you’re worried about a child or young person, or if you notice that something just doesn’t seem right, the NSPCC is here to help. You can talk to their helpline team who offer free support and guidance on 0808 800 5000 (8am-10pm Mon-Fri / 9am-6pm weekends) or you can email the team at anytime.

Poole Crematorium open for ceremonies & services

Funeral services continue at the highest standards with minimal disturbance. It is likely most mourners will notice very little change to the way services are conducted at this time.
