BCP Update

Council Leader Q&A tomorrow at noon

Leader of BCP Council, Cllr Vikki Slade, will host another live Q&A session on Facebook tomorrow (Wednesday 6 May) at midday to answer your questions about the council’s response to the Covid-19 crisis.

If you’re unable to watch at midday the video will be available to view on our Facebook page, and on YouTube, following the broadcast. Please remember that you do not need a Facebook account to be able to watch.

Reminder: check your eligibility for business grants

To date, we’ve issued over £60m in Grant Support to local businesses affected by the COVID19 pandemic. Steph Stevenson, Owner of HNB Salon & Spa in Canford Cliffs, Poole, was one of the first businesses owners in the area to receive her Business Support Grant through BCP Council. We know there are still eligible businesses out there who have not yet applied. To benefit from this support, please check your eligibility on our website and apply as soon as possible.

Buddy up with an exercise partner (virtually!)

Why not buddy-up (virtually) with a friend, family member or colleague and support each other to do 26 minutes of exercise a day with the new, free mayathon app?

It can be any activity and it’s not competitive. Here’s the best way to buddy-up.
