The Civic and Parish Church of Bournemouth

Amelia’s Rainbow Christmas Toy Appeal

BTCP is supporting the Amelia’s Rainbow Charity this year, so if you could consider bringing in an unwrapped gift or two, so that we can donate to the 170 families they support in our area, it would be wonderful.

As always, they need new, unused and unwrapped presents and they gift up to the age of 21. Last year they really struggled for gifts to children who only respond to sounds or lights rather than play, so this is a big need this year.  Also they do support siblings and a lot of teens so another message to all supporters is for vouchers, sensory, smellies, cuddly socks, blankets, makeup and of course Lego always seem consistently popular.

They also have a Just Giving page because they always have to buy vouchers for the older teens who love reading or gaming so they encourage people to use that if you want to give a gift but don’t know what to get.

Here’s the link so please do use this if you can and the charity can then buy vouchers and gifts that they are short of with your kind donation: http://justgiving.com/campaign/Toyappeal22

Details can be found on the flyers. Please give generously if you can.

Lisa Babb will collect your donations from each church over the next 3 Sundays and arrange to deliver them to the charity on December 5th.

Thank you, in advance, for your kindness.
