The Civic and Parish Church of Bournemouth

Looking Forward To Welcoming Our New Curate in 2026…

Exciting times in Bournemouth Town Centre Parish as The Diocese of Winchester has welcomed our parish as a training parish now The Rev’d Canon Nicholas Jepson-Biddle is in place!

Andrew West will be joining us after St Petertide next year and has sent a message to everyone:

Hello! My name is Andrew West, and I’m really looking forward to joining you next summer as Curate in BTCP. I have one more academic year at Sarum College to complete before my ordination as a Deacon next Petertide. It’s a great joy to be preparing for ministry among you as part of my Title post, and I’m eager to get to know the churches, communities, and individuals that make up this parish. I’ve been shaped by a deep love for the local church in the Bournemouth and Poole area, a passion for sharing God’s Word, and a desire to walk alongside others in faith and life.

I’m married to Laura, and we have two children: Poppy (9) and Daisy (7). We also have a pug called Mabel, who likes tea and toast for her breakfast! We’re excited about getting to know new people, and I look forward to sharing in the life of the church with you all. Thank you in advance for the welcome we know we’ll receive, and I shall keep you all in my prayers as I prepare for this new beginning of ministry. Please also pray for me and my family as we navigate through the next year, so that we can transition into this new chapter together.

A busy 2026 for us all!
