Car parks and toilets at leisure locations to reopen

Car parks in leisure locations, and some toilets, across the area will reopen from 8am on Wednesday 13 May, for local people to enjoy the beaches, parks, and open spaces.

Golf courses, mini-golf, tennis courts, athletic tracks, skate parks, outdoor bowls facilities and ball courts will also reopen, providing members of the public continue to maintain social distancing.

Schools update

Following the government’s latest update we are working with our schools on preparations for the possibility of reopening for reception, year 1 and year 6 pupils.

Social distancing is in use in all the schools that are currently open and will need to be in place for any wider opening in the future.
