The Civic and Parish Church of Bournemouth

2022 Air Festival Praise Service – 10am, Sunday 4th September

This service will take place in the Lower Gardens, near the Bandstand.

The service will be led by The Reverend Dr Ian Terry, team rector of Bournemouth Town Centre Parish, and we are extremely grateful to The Reverend (Flt Lt) Helene Grant, who is Station Chaplain at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire, who is travelling down to be our guest preacher.

Grateful thanks also goes to Dr Gareth Sherwood, CEO of the YMCA in Bournemouth, who will be talking about all of the great things that are happening with them.

As always, no service would be complete without the talented musicians from the Boscombe Salvation Army Band, who will be accompanying all of hymns planned for the service.

Everyone is welcome to drop in and join in – the more the merrier, so please come down to the gardens before 10am, pick up an order of service booklet and find a spot to sit down or stand. Please remember, if it is a hot day, to bring suncream, a hat and most importantly, some water to keep you hydrated. However, should the weather turn decidedly British, the service will be held inside St Peter’s Church, just by Beales in Hinton Road, BH1 2EE.

We look forward to welcoming you all to this Air Festival Service of Praise.
