Sunday services

8.00am – Holy Communion
10.00am – Sung Eucharist (or Goodnews@10 on the first Sunday of the month)
4.00pm – Evensong

Holy Communion

The Communion (or Eucharist) follows Jesus’ wish that we share bread and wine ‘in remembrance of me’.

When: Monday and Thursday at 12:15pm
Duration: 30 minutes
Where: in the Keble Chapel

Sung Eucharist

The Sung Eucharist celebrates the Communion on a larger scale, as the main service of the week. The service lasts for about an hour and a quarter and is followed by refreshments.

When: Sundays at 10.00am, and on some festival days as published
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Where: in the church

Choral Evensong

This beautiful service is sung by the choir during school term-time, and follows a timeless structure of psalms, readings, hymns and prayers, using traditional language. Outside of school term-time, the service may be sung by other choirs such as the St. Peter’s Singers, or may be a spoken service with hymns..

When: Sunday at 4.00pm (except during August)
Duration: 45 minutes

Goodnews@10

The Goodnews@10 service is a conversational and informal service, with discussion, readings, prayers, teaching and hymns.

When: normally at 10.00am on the first Sunday of each month
Duration: 1 hour
Where: in the church
