The Civic and Parish Church of Bournemouth

Sharp Edges Summer Course Begins…

Our new series of Sharp Edges discussion groups runs from June 6th, straight after the Communion service (12.15pm in the Keble Chapel) on Thursday lunchtimes from 12.50pm-1.45pm in the Resurrection Chapel in the St Peter’s Church grounds, until the end of July. Parry’s Cafe will be open, so you can grab your lunch before attending the group.

This term, we are following the book ‘God is Stranger’ by Krish Kandaih. Kandiah challenges us to recognise that having met the God who is a stranger we should look out for God in the stranger… It is a book which makes you think and helps us see things a little differently, to link the things that you know in your head with the things that you feel in your heart.

God is Stranger is available from our book stall inside St Peter’s Church or from all leading bookshops and Amazon for around £10

Please come along and see what it is all about or contact our team rector, the Rev’d Dr Ian Terry, if you want to find out a little more about it first. We’d love to see you there!
